The scala rider G9 brings communication in motion to a totally different level. Unprecedented functions and features, merged with a remarkably intuitive user interface make this technological gem a must-have tool for any rider. One of its many unique features is the “One+8” Intercom that offers Voice Command connectivity to as many as eight additional riders within a range of up to

1 mile / 1.6 km*. Just say the name of your "Buddy" and converse in full-duplex. The “One+8” Intercom feature is in addition to 4-Way Intercom Conferencing and Click-to-Link for spontaneous connections. Pairing is also faster and easier than ever before: Simply ‘bump’ two G9 units together and you’re ready to hit the road!

Another unique feature is the Cardo Community web platform. Here you can register your G9, invite fellow riders for a tour, or join tours, and personalize most any function of your G9. Upgradable software** will ensure your G9 remains at the forefront of technology. Other new features include Group Signal, allowing you to alert fellow riders of any danger or obstacle on the road and Hot-Dial calling.

The G9 also connects to your A2DP-enabled smartphones and MP3 players to stream stereo music or to the built-in FM radio. The radio has smart auto scan and RDS so you won’t need to readjust the frequency when travelling long distances.

Q: Will HeliBars Handlebar Adapters affect the handling of my bike?

A: In most HeliBars Handlebar Adapter applications, there's an improvement in both low- and high-speed handling on the street. You also must take into consideration the fact that you'll be sitting more upright and therefore more in the wind-stream

Q: Will I need to modify throttle cables or brake lines?

A: Most HeliBars Handlebar Adapter models are designed to work with all of your stock cables and hydraulic lines. In some cases, it is necessary to replace your throttle cables or hydraulic lines. If longer lines or cables are required, it will be noted as to weather they are necessary and/or if they are included.

Q: Will HeliBars Handlebar Adapters interfere with my stock tank or fairing?

A: As long as the installation instructions are followed, HeliBars Handlebar Adapters will not contact your tank or fairing. If you have an aftermarket tank or fairing there maybe interference. HeliBars are designed as a direct STOCK replacement.

Q: Should I use my HeliBars Handlebar Adapters as a tie down point?

A: HeliBars Handlebar Adapters must not be used as the primary holding points for tie downs while trailering. (Just as it is not recommended that you use your stock handlebars as a tiedown point.) Extreme force applied to the ends of the bars can bend the bars or rotate them on their mounts. Instead use a wheel chock and pull the machine down and forward. Using soft ties or similar, attach to the lower triple clamp. Bars should only be used as secondary attachment points to steady the motorcycle from lateral sway. Failure to follow these guidelines can cause damage to the HeliBars and the motorcycle, and may also void our warranty.
